5 pounds potatoes | |
1 cup heavy cream | |
1/2 cup unsalted butter | |
1/4 cup sour cream | |
Salt and pepper to taste |
1. | Peel and cut the potatoes into large chunks. |
2. | Place the potatoes in a large pot and cover with cold water. Bring to a boil and cook until the potatoes are tender, about 15-20 minutes. |
3. | Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot. Add the heavy cream, butter, and sour cream. Mash the potatoes until smooth and creamy. |
4. | Season with salt and pepper to taste. |
