Taco Salad with Salsa Dressing
A refreshing and flavorful salad with a zesty salsa dressing.
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1 cup salsa
- 1 head romaine lettuce chopped
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes halved
- 1 cup black beans rinsed
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup black olives sliced
- 1/2 cup red onion diced
- 1/4 cup cilantro chopped fresh
- Tortilla chips for serving
Instructions
- In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
- Add the taco seasoning and salsa to the skillet and stir well to combine. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- In a large bowl, combine the lettuce, cherry tomatoes, black beans, cheddar cheese, black olives, red onion, and cilantro.
- Add the cooked ground beef mixture to the bowl and toss well to combine.
- Serve the salad with tortilla chips on the side.
