A delicious and filling breakfast scramble made with sausage and bell peppers
6 ounces sausage, sliced | |
1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced | |
1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced | |
6 eggs | |
1/4 cup milk | |
Salt and pepper to taste | |
1/2 cup shredded cheese |
1. | In a large skillet, cook the sausage over medium heat until browned. Remove from the skillet and set aside. |
2. | In the same skillet, add the bell peppers and cook until tender. |
3. | In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper. |
4. | Pour the egg mixture into the skillet with the bell peppers and cook, stirring occasionally, until the eggs are scrambled and fully cooked. |
5. | Add the cooked sausage back into the skillet and stir to combine. |
6. | Sprinkle the shredded cheese over the top and let it melt. |
7. | Serve hot and enjoy! |
