These Salmon Patties are an easy and delicious way to enjoy salmon with a crispy outer layer and tender inside.
Ingredients
- 1 can salmon drained and flaked
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs you can use Panko for extra crispiness
- 1 large egg beaten
- 1/4 cup onion finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice freshly squeezed
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the salmon, bread crumbs, egg, onion, mayonnaise, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into patties, about 1/2 inch thick.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Fry patties until both sides are golden brown, about 3-5 minutes per side.
- Drain patties on paper towels before serving.
- Serve warm with your choice of sides or dipping sauces.
