Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound salmon fillets skin removed, chopped finely
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs plain or panko
  • 1 unit egg beaten
  • 2 tablespoons green onions chopped
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 unit garlic clove minced
  • to taste salt
  • to taste black pepper freshly ground
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil for cooking
  • 4 unit burger buns toasted

Instructions
 

  • In a large bowl, combine the chopped salmon, breadcrumbs, beaten egg, green onions, lemon juice, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Mix thoroughly to combine.
  • Form the mixture into 4 equal-sized patties.
  • Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Cook the salmon patties in the heated skillet for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until they are golden brown and cooked through.
  • Serve the salmon burgers on toasted burger buns with your favorite toppings and condiments.
