It didn’t turn out like I expected. The cabbage was mushy and the pork was a bit dry. Couldn’t even finish it.

I’m sorry to hear that! The timing can really affect the texture. Maybe try reducing the cooking time for the cabbage next time?

Mushy cabbage? What did you do? I made it and it was delicious! Maybe you cooked it too long?

Isn’t pork a bit fatty? I prefer chicken instead. But I tried this and it was ok.

Pork shoulder is hard to find in stores! Had to settle for ground pork.

  4. 4 stars
I really didn’t know how cabbage could taste so good. Thanks for the recipe!

I’m so glad you enjoyed it! It’s one of my favorites too. The pork really makes the dish! 👍

It sounds good, but I don’t understand how the cabbage and pork mix. Is that really a good combo?

My grandma made this all the time when I was a kid! So nostalgic, but I think you forgot to add mustard.

    1. 5 stars
I don’t think mustard belongs in this recipe. It sounds perfect without it! Makes me hungry just reading it.

    2. 3 stars
But isn’t mustard usually for sandwiches? This dish feels more like home cooking without it.

Was good, but I messed up the potatoes. Added them way too late! 😂

I added some carrots and have to say it was a good decision! Love how flexible this recipe is.

I dunno about adding carrots. Seems like a weird combo, but if you liked it, who am I to say? 😅

Carrots? That’s interesting! I usually stick to the original ingredients. But if it works for you, that’s great! 😊
