A delicious and hearty hash made with pork and cabbage.
1 pound pork shoulder, diced | |
1 small onion, chopped | |
2 cloves garlic, minced | |
1/2 small cabbage, shredded | |
2 medium potatoes, diced | |
1 teaspoon paprika | |
Salt and pepper to taste | |
2 tablespoons olive oil |
1. | Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. |
2. | Add the diced pork shoulder and cook until browned and cooked through, about 8-10 minutes. Remove pork from skillet and set aside. |
3. | In the same skillet, add the chopped onion and minced garlic. Cook until onion is translucent, about 5 minutes. |
4. | Add the shredded cabbage and diced potatoes to the skillet. Cook until cabbage is wilted and potatoes are tender, about 15-20 minutes. |
5. | Return the cooked pork to the skillet and sprinkle with paprika. Season with salt and pepper to taste. |
6. | Cook for an additional 5 minutes, until flavors are well combined. Serve hot. |
