A delicious and healthy dish combining pork and brussel sprouts
1 pound pork tenderloin, cut into 1-inch cubes | |
½ teaspoon salt | |
½ teaspoon black pepper | |
2 tablespoons olive oil | |
1 pound brussel sprouts, halved | |
3 cloves garlic, minced | |
½ teaspoon red pepper flakes | |
½ cup chicken broth | |
Juice of 1 lemon |
1. | Season the pork cubes with salt and black pepper. |
2. | Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. |
3. | Add the pork cubes to the skillet and cook until browned on all sides, about 5 minutes. |
4. | Remove the pork from the skillet and set aside. |
5. | In the same skillet, add the brussel sprouts, garlic, and red pepper flakes. |
6. | Cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. |
7. | Add the chicken broth and lemon juice to the skillet. |
8. | Return the pork to the skillet and cook for an additional 10 minutes, or until the brussel sprouts are tender. |
9. | Serve hot and enjoy! |
