Ingredients
- 2 cups sliced peaches fresh or canned
- 1 cup sugar divided
- 0.5 cup butter melted
- 1 cup self-rising flour
- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Pour the melted butter into a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In a bowl, mix together 1/2 cup sugar, flour, milk, and vanilla to form a batter.
- Pour the batter over the melted butter but do not stir.
- In a separate bowl, combine the peaches and remaining 1/2 cup sugar, then spoon over the batter.
- Bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown. Decorate with brown sugar if desired.

Easy recipe! I used canned peaches because that’s all I had, and it worked out fine! Yum! 🍑👌
It was ok, but I prefer mine with a crumbly top instead of this batter. Maybe I’ll try tweaking it!
