Enjoy a spooky twist on a classic appetizer with this Pastry Shaped Mummy Baked Brie. Perfect for Halloween gatherings, this easy-to-make dish features creamy brie wrapped in flaky pastry dough, creatively shaped into a mummy.
Ingredients
- 1 wheel Brie cheese approximately 8 ounces
- 1 sheet Puff pastry thawed
- 1 tablespoon Honey or to taste
- 2 Candy eyes for decoration
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Lay out the puff pastry sheet and place the wheel of brie in the center. Spread honey on top of the brie.
- Cut strips from the pastry and wrap around the brie to create a ‘mummy’ look, leaving space for eyes.
- Place the wrapped brie on a baking sheet and bake for 15 to 20 minutes until the pastry is golden brown.
- Remove from oven and let it cool slightly before placing candy eyes in place.
