A delicious and creamy pasta dish made with fresh mushrooms.
Ingredients
- 8 ounces pasta
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 pound mushrooms sliced, fresh
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese grated
- Salt and pepper to taste
- parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced mushrooms and cook for 5-7 minutes until golden brown and tender. Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional 1 minute.
- Reduce the heat to low and stir in the heavy cream and grated Parmesan cheese. Cook for 3-4 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Add the cooked pasta to the skillet with the mushroom sauce and toss to coat.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
