Ingredients
- 10 lemons organic, if possible
- 750 ml vodka high proof, at least 90%
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 cups water
Instructions
- Wash the lemons thoroughly and peel them with a vegetable peeler, making sure to avoid the white pith.
- Place lemon peels in a glass jar and pour the vodka over them. Seal tightly and store in a cool, dark place for at least 2 weeks.
- After the infusion period, combine sugar and water in a saucepan and heat until sugar dissolves completely to make a simple syrup. Let it cool.
- Strain the lemon-infused vodka to remove peels and mix with the cooled simple syrup.
- Transfer the Lemoncello into bottles and seal them. Store in freezer and serve chilled.

It says 750 ml vodka? Sounds too much for me! Is it necessary? I’m not sure about this recipe.
This is the best lemoncello recipe I’ve tried! Super easy and tastes so refreshing. I’ll definitely make it again!
