Ingredients
- 8 pieces Lamb chops Choose rib chops for even cooking
- 2 tablespoons Olive oil For seasoning and grilling
- to taste Salt For seasoning the lamb
- to taste Black pepper Freshly ground, for seasoning
- 1/3 cup Fresh mint leaves Chopped for the sauce
- 1/4 cup White wine vinegar For the mint sauce
- 2 tablespoons Sugar To sweeten the mint sauce
- 1/4 cup Water To adjust the sauce consistency
Instructions
- Season the lamb chops with salt and black pepper on both sides.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Cook the lamb chops for 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare, or until cooked to your desired level of doneness.
- In a small saucepan, mix together the mint leaves, white wine vinegar, sugar, and water.
- Bring the mint mixture to a simmer over medium heat, stirring until the sugar is dissolved.
- Allow the mint sauce to cool slightly, then serve alongside the lamb chops.
