Delicious and flavorful herb-marinated grilled shrimp recipe.
1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined | |
2 cloves garlic, minced | |
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice | |
2 tablespoons olive oil | |
1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil | |
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley | |
1 teaspoon chopped fresh thyme | |
1/2 teaspoon salt | |
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper |
1. | In a large bowl, combine the garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, basil, parsley, thyme, salt, and black pepper. |
2. | Add the shrimp to the bowl and toss to coat them in the marinade. Cover and refrigerate for 20 minutes. |
3. | Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Thread the shrimp onto skewers if desired. |
4. | Grill the shrimp for 2-3 minutes per side, or until they are pink and opaque. |
5. | Remove from the grill and serve immediately. |
