Grilled Beef and Eggplant Rolls
Delicious grilled beef and eggplant rolls.
Ingredients
- 1 lb beef sirloin thinly sliced
- 1 eggplant large, sliced into thin strips
- 2 Garlic cloves minced
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the minced garlic, soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, vegetable oil, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Marinate the beef sirloin in the sauce for at least 20 minutes.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Grill the eggplant slices for about 2 minutes on each side, until they are tender and slightly charred. Remove from the grill and set aside.
- Remove the beef sirloin from the marinade and shake off any excess sauce.
- Place a slice of grilled eggplant on top of each beef slice.
- Roll up the beef and eggplant together, securing each roll with a toothpick.
- Grill the rolls for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until the beef is cooked to your desired level of doneness.
- Remove the rolls from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes.
- Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve hot.
