1 pound beef sirloin steak, sliced | |
2 cups fresh broccoli florets | |
1/4 cup soy sauce | |
2 tablespoons rice vinegar | |
1 tablespoon honey | |
2 garlic cloves, minced | |
1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger | |
2 tablespoons sesame oil | |
Salt and pepper to taste | |
2 green onions, chopped | |
1/4 cup chopped peanuts |
1. | Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. |
2. | In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, minced garlic, grated ginger, and sesame oil. |
3. | Season the beef slices with salt and pepper, then brush with the soy sauce mixture. |
4. | Grill the beef for 2-3 minutes per side for medium-rare, or until cooked to your desired level of doneness. Remove beef from grill and let rest for 5 minutes. |
5. | Meanwhile, steam broccoli florets until crisp-tender, about 3-4 minutes. |
6. | Slice the grilled beef into thin strips. |
7. | In a large bowl, combine the grilled beef, steamed broccoli, chopped green onions, and chopped peanuts. |
8. | Drizzle the remaining soy sauce mixture over the salad and toss to combine. |
