A straightforward and delicious recipe for Spaghetti Bolognese that’s perfect for a quick and satisfying meal.
Ingredients
- 400 grams spaghetti
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 onion medium, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 500 grams ground beef
- 400 grams canned tomatoes chopped
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
Instructions
- Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions in a large pot of salted boiling water. Drain and set aside.
- In a large pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic, and sauté until the onion is translucent.
- Increase the heat to high and add the ground beef. Cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon as it cooks.
- Stir in the canned tomatoes, tomato paste, oregano, and basil. Season with salt and pepper.
- Lower the heat to a simmer and cook for about 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce has thickened.
- Mix the cooked spaghetti with the sauce and serve hot. Enjoy!
