  • 2 cups all-purpose flour plus more for dusting
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder for leavening
  • 1 teaspoon salt for seasoning

  • 1 large egg for egg wash

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • Add the cottage cheese to the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
  • Lightly flour a work surface and knead the dough for a few minutes until smooth.
  • Divide the dough into 4 equal parts, roll each into a ball, then shape into bagels.
  • Place the bagels on the prepared baking sheet, brush with beaten egg, and bake for 15 minutes until golden brown.
