Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup water preferably filtered
  • 1-2 pieces cinnamon sticks use Ceylon cinnamon for best flavor
  • 1 tsp honey optional, to taste

Instructions
 

  • Bring the water to a boil in a small saucepan.
  • Add the cinnamon sticks to the boiling water.
  • Reduce heat and let simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and let the tea steep for an additional 2 minutes.
  • Strain the tea into a cup and add honey if desired.
