Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound chicken wings split into drumettes and flats if desired
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce low sodium preferred
  • 1/4 cup hoisin sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger freshly grated
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil

Instructions
 

  • In a large bowl, mix together soy sauce, hoisin sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil.
  • Add chicken wings to the marinade and toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or overnight for best results.
  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and set a wire rack on top.
  • Arrange the marinated wings on the prepared rack in a single layer.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 40 to 45 minutes, turning once halfway through, until wings are cooked through and golden brown.
  • Serve hot, garnished with sesame seeds and chopped green onions if desired.
