Ingredients
- 1 cup Yogurt For marination
- 1 tbsp Lemon Juice For marination
- 2 tsp Garam Masala For marination
- 1 tsp Turmeric For marination
- 2 tsp Ground Cumin For marination
- 4 pieces Chicken Breasts Boneless, skinless, cut into chunks
- 2 tbsp Butter For sauce
- 1 large Onion Finely chopped
- 3 cloves Garlic Minced
- 1 tbsp Ginger Minced
- 1 tbsp Ground Cumin For sauce
- 1 tsp Paprika For sauce
- 1 tsp Ground Coriander For sauce
- 1 cup Tomato Sauce For sauce
- 1 cup Heavy Cream For sauce
- Salt to taste Salt For sauce
- Cilantro for garnish Cilantro Chopped
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine yogurt, lemon juice, garam masala, turmeric, and ground cumin. Add chicken and marinate for at least 1 hour.
- In a large pan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add onions and cook until softened.
- Add garlic, ginger, cumin, paprika, and ground coriander. Cook until fragrant.
- Pour tomato sauce into the pan and bring to a simmer. Let it cook for 20 minutes.
- Add the marinated chicken into the sauce. Cook for another 15-20 minutes until the chicken is fully cooked.
- Stir in heavy cream and simmer for an additional 5 minutes. Season with salt.
- Garnish with chopped cilantro and serve with rice.
