4-6 ripe tomatoes | |
1 pound fresh mozzarella cheese | |
1 bunch fresh basil leaves | |
3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil | |
Salt and pepper to taste |
1. | Slice the tomatoes and mozzarella cheese into thick, even slices. |
2. | Arrange the tomato and mozzarella slices on a platter. |
3. | Layer the basil leaves on top of the tomato and mozzarella slices. |
4. | Drizzle the olive oil over the salad. |
5. | Season with salt and pepper to taste. |
6. | Serve immediately and enjoy! |
