A healthy and delicious banana chia pudding recipe.
2 ripe bananas | |
1/4 cup chia seeds | |
1 cup almond milk | |
1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup | |
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract | |
Optional toppings: sliced bananas, shredded coconut, chopped nuts |
1. | In a blender, combine the ripe bananas, almond milk, honey or maple syrup, and vanilla extract. Blend until smooth. |
2. | Pour the banana mixture into a bowl and add the chia seeds. Stir well to combine. |
3. | Cover the pudding and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight, until it thickens. |
4. | Once thickened, give the pudding a stir and divide it into serving bowls. |
5. | Top with sliced bananas, shredded coconut, and chopped nuts, if desired. |
6. | Serve chilled and enjoy! |
