Instructions
Finely chop a handful of fresh mint leaves
Mince garlic cloves
Juice one lemon
In a large mixing bowl, combine the chopped mint, minced garlic, and lemon juice
Pour in the bottle of Italian dressing
Mix well to ensure all ingredients are thoroughly combined
Marinate the Meat
Place your choice of poultry or meat into a large resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish
Pour the marinade over the meat, ensuring it is well-coated
Seal the bag or cover the dish with plastic wrap
Place it in the refrigerator and marinate for 1 to 2 days, turning the meat occasionally to ensure even marination
Cook the Marinated Meat
When ready to cook, remove the meat from the marinade and discard any remaining marinade
Skewer the meat onto skewers (if desired for traditional spiedies)
Cook the meat using your preferred method (grilling is traditional)
