- 200 grams pasta Any type of pasta you prefer
- 150 grams Shiitake mushrooms Sliced thinly
- 2 tablespoons olive oil Extra virgin
- 3 cloves garlic Minced
- 1/4 cup parmesan cheese Grated
- to taste salt
- to taste black pepper Freshly ground
Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat.
Add garlic to the pan and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
Add the sliced shiitake mushrooms to the pan and cook for 5-7 minutes, until tender.
Mix the cooked pasta into the pan with the mushrooms and garlic. Toss well to combine.
Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.
Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the top before serving.
