Ingredients
  

  • 4 potatoes large,
  • ½ cup butter
  • ½ cup milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Peel and chop the potatoes into large chunks.
  • Place the potatoes in a large pot and cover with cold water. Add a pinch of salt to the water.
  • Bring the water to a boil over high heat, then reduce the heat to medium and simmer for about 15 minutes or until the potatoes are fork-tender.
  • Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot.
  • Add the butter and milk to the pot with the potatoes.
  • Use a potato masher or a fork to mash the potatoes until smooth and creamy.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Serve hot and enjoy!
