Instructions
Peel and chop the potatoes into large chunks.
Place the potatoes in a large pot and cover with cold water. Add a pinch of salt to the water.
Bring the water to a boil over high heat, then reduce the heat to medium and simmer for about 15 minutes or until the potatoes are fork-tender.
Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot.
Add the butter and milk to the pot with the potatoes.
Use a potato masher or a fork to mash the potatoes until smooth and creamy.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Serve hot and enjoy!
