In a large bowl, combine 2 cups of flour, sugar, salt, and yeast.
Mix in the warm milk and melted butter, stirring until the dough begins to form.
Add the spice mix and egg, then stir in the raisins.
Gradually add the remaining flour until the dough is not sticky.
Knead the dough for about 5 minutes until it is smooth.
Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
Divide the dough into 12 equal pieces and shape into balls. Place on a greased baking tray.
Let the buns rise again for 30 minutes.
Prepare a paste of flour and water for the crosses and pipe onto the buns.
Bake in preheated oven for 20 minutes.
