Ingredients
  

  • 3 medium potatoes peeled and thinly sliced
  • 2 cups vegetable oil for frying

Instructions
 

  • Peel and thinly slice the potatoes using a mandoline or knife.
  • Soak the potato slices in cold water for 30 minutes to remove excess starch.
  • Drain and pat the potato slices dry with a paper towel.
  • Heat the vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large saucepan to 350°F (175°C).
  • Fry the potato slices in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per batch.
  • Remove the chips with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
  • Season with salt to taste while still warm.
