Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, beat the butter, powdered sugar, almond extract, and vanilla extract together until smooth.
Mix in the egg, then gradually add the flour, baking powder, and salt. Blend until you have a smooth dough.
Add green food coloring to the dough, mixing until the color is evenly distributed.
Take heaping tablespoons of dough, shape into long fingers, and press one almond into the end of each to create a 'fingernail.'
Arrange the finger cookies on the prepared baking sheet and repeat with remaining dough.
Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until lightly golden and firm.
Allow to cool on baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack.
