- 2 avocados pitted and peeled, ripe
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder sifted, unsweetened
- 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1/4 cup almond milk or any non-dairy milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/8 tsp salt
Place all the ingredients in a food processor or blender.
Blend until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed.
Taste and adjust sweetness if necessary.
Spoon the mousse into serving dishes and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
Garnish with fresh berries, coconut flakes, or mint leaves before serving, if desired.
