- 1 wheel brie cheese 8 ounces
- 1 sheet puff pastry thawed if frozen
- 1 tablespoon honey optional, for sweetness
- 1 egg egg wash beaten
- 1/4 cup sliced almonds optional, for topping
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface.
Place the brie in the center of the pastry. Spread honey on top of the brie, if using.
Fold the pastry around the brie, trimming excess and pressing to seal.
Brush the pastry with the beaten egg. Sprinkle with sliced almonds if desired.
Place on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
Remove from oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
