Ingredients
  

  • 200 grams Brussels sprouts halved
  • 200 grams carrots sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a large bowl, toss Brussels sprouts and carrots with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  • Spread the vegetables out in an even layer on a large baking sheet.
  • Roast in the preheated oven for 20 minutes.
  • While the vegetables are roasting, mix balsamic vinegar and honey in a small bowl.
  • After 20 minutes, remove the baking sheet from the oven, drizzle the balsamic honey mixture over the vegetables, and toss to coat.
  • Return to the oven and roast for an additional 10 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender and caramelized.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy!

    I don’t know… I usually hate Brussels sprouts. I tried this recipe because my friend said it was good, but I still didn’t like it. The honey was too sweet for me.

      I totally get you! Brussels sprouts can be hit or miss, especially with sweet stuff. Maybe try them with just olive oil and garlic next time!

      I tried makin this last night, but I used maple syrup instead of honey. It still turned out pretty good! But I think honey does sound better. 🤷‍♂️

    No offense, but why do people eat Brussels sprouts? They’re just not tasty to me no matter how you cook them.

      I get what you mean! Brussels sprouts can be a hit or miss for a lot of folks. This recipe might change your mind though! Honey and balsamic can really help sweeten them up. Give it a shot!
