Delicious and flavorful greek-style grilled shrimp recipe.
1 lb. large shrimp, peeled and deveined | |
2 tablespoons olive oil | |
2 garlic cloves, minced | |
1 tablespoon lemon juice | |
1 teaspoon dried oregano | |
1 teaspoon dried basil | |
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme | |
Salt and pepper, to taste | |
Lemon wedges, for serving |
1. | In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, dried oregano, dried basil, dried thyme, salt, and pepper. Mix well to combine. |
2. | Add the shrimp to the bowl and toss to coat them in the marinade. Let the shrimp marinate for at least 10 minutes. |
3. | Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. |
4. | Thread the shrimp onto skewers, making sure to leave space between each shrimp. |
5. | Grill the shrimp for 2-3 minutes per side, or until they are pink and opaque. |
6. | Remove the shrimp from the grill and serve them with lemon wedges. |
