  • In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, egg, ice-cold water, and salt until smooth.
  • Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan or pot to 350°F (175°C).
  • Dip the vegetables and seafood into the batter, ensuring each piece is well coated.
  • Carefully place the battered vegetables and seafood into the hot oil, frying until golden brown and crispy.
  • Remove from oil and drain on a paper towel-lined plate.
