A delicious and healthy dish combining pork and brussel sprouts
Ingredients
- 1 pound pork tenderloin cut into 1-inch cubes
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 pound brussel sprouts halved
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
- ½ cup chicken broth
- Juice of 1 lemon
Instructions
- Season the pork cubes with salt and black pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the pork cubes to the skillet and cook until browned on all sides, about 5 minutes.
- Remove the pork from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the brussel sprouts, garlic, and red pepper flakes.
- Cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Add the chicken broth and lemon juice to the skillet.
- Return the pork to the skillet and cook for an additional 10 minutes, or until the brussel sprouts are tender.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
